Spirit week continues with Staycation/Vacation day. Continuing with the theme of road trips, students were encouraged to either dress in there favorite KC apparel or dress with souvenirs from their vacations around the globe.

“I think the spirit days are really cool this year, they’re a lot better than last year,” sophomore Emilio Ayala said.

This is the first time the school has had this Courtwarming spirit day in over 10 years and students are reacting positively towards the spirit day.

“I love the new days,” freshman Kenadi Thomas said. “They’re making me excited for Courtwarming. I think STUCO did a good job this year.”

Spirit week continues tomorrow with Stoplight Day. Students can wear green if they’re single, yellow if it’s complicated and red if they’re taken.

“Even though I don’t plan on going to Courtwarming I still think that the spirit days are really cool,” sophomore Tailynn Klein said

Tickets for the dance are currently on sale for $7 in the cafeteria during all lunch shifts, the dance will take place in the varsity gym on Sat., Jan. 27 from 7 to 10 p.m.
