Today is the last day of the 2018 Courtwarming Spirit Week. Sticking to tradition, today’s theme is Fort Pride. Students are wearing red, black, white, and Fort Osage spirit wear.

“Fort Pride Day was my favorite of the spirit days this week,” junior A.J. Wilson said excitedly.“I get to wear all my red, and show off my new shoes.”

Going back 10 years in Fort Osage’s history of Courtwarming Spirit Weeks, Fort Pride Day has always been included, and always on Friday before the big game. Not everyone was pleased with all the Spirit Days.

“I was not impressed with the spirit days this week,” senior Courtwarming King Candidate Levi Pruett said. “I wish STUCO did a better job at listening to what the student body wants.”

Fort Osage is expected to have a big crowd for the basketball game tonight. The King and Queen will be crowned during the halftime of the game. The dance starts at 7 p.m. in the gym on Sat. Jan. 28.
