The third installment of the Ant-Man movie series, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” rated PG-13, opened in US theaters Feb. 17. “Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” continues to produce excellent content for those following the Marvel story.

I believe this was a great movie but there were scenes of creatures in the multiverse that looked like ones that would be in Star Wars. Also, there were scenes where when you watch it you immediately think of Star Wars because of how they are standing and how the actors were positioned. Bill Murray who plays Lord Krylar has an unnecessary debut in Marvel. Usually Bill Murray has some comedy in his acting, but since he wasn’t in the scene for very long there wasn’t any time to include comedy. I believe Bill Murray could have had a more meaningful role in a future Marvel movie.  The movie mainly follows Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) and Cassie Lang’s (Kathryn Newton) journey in the Quantum Realm.

“Ant Man” had a strange beginning but once the movie started to develop, there was more comedy and better action scenes. Janet Van Dyne(Michelle Pfeiffer) had an interesting past with Kang that gets revealed throughout the movie, and keeps you wondering how bad Kang is. Scott and Cassie couldn’t fight Kang (Jonathan Majors) all by themselves so they had the help of Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym (Micheal Douglas), and Janet Van Dyne. They provided much help with finding and fighting Kang. The end will keep you entertained and wondering what happens next. Overall, it helps connect what Marvel is doing with the Quantum Realm and the Multiverse.

Paul Rudd did a phenomenal job acting and did not disappoint. He really got into his role and you could feel his pain in some of the scenes. As always he has some really funny scenes throughout the whole movie. The special effects were not advanced and they seemed to use the same background a lot. Peyton Reed, who directed all three Ant-Man movies did a really good job with this movie, making it all connect and not making it a forced comedy.

Just like any Marvel movie, stay until the end. The after credit scenes are very important to the storyline and will explain the next stage for Marvel. I would suggest this movie to anyone who likes Marvel, comedies, or action movies. But there are some strange characters so if you don’t like that, this is not the movie for you.
