The Student Council planned a fall spirit week during the week of Oct. 25-29. Sophomore Izzi Cobb feels that spirit weeks get students involved in school.

“I think spirit weeks are a great way to get people involved and they bring positivity back into the school,” Cobb said. “Seeing everyone participate shows a lot more people care than you think.”

The spirit week days consist of Monochromatic Monday, Nature Tuesday, Wacky Tacky Wednesday, Meme Thursday, and Fall Sports Friday. Freshman Peyton Shockley thinks that Nature Tuesday was the best spirit day.

“My favorite spirit week day this week is Nature Day because even if you don’t have clothes to do with nature you can still wear fall colored clothes,” Shockley said.

Freshman Student Council representatives took charge in creating and broadcasting the publicity for the spirit week. Sophomore Aryia Morton believes that spirit weeks can be fun.

“I think if you have students who want to participate it can be really fun and hyping for our school,” Morton said. “I like seeing people step out of their comfort zone and dress up to participate.”

HOSA continued on the fun by planning another spirit week for the week of Nov. 1-5.
