The life list starring Sofia Carson, released March 28, 2025, is a movie about a woman named Alex completing a life list she made when she was just a teenager. There were things on this list like getting a tattoo, learning to drive, and the hardest one for her to find love. She is challenged by her mom, who recently passed, to complete this list by New Year’s, and if she doesn’t, she will not be able to inherit anything her mom left her. She is also left with videos from her mom helping and leading her to complete the list.

 Her mom’s testator, the person who creates a will for their client, helps Alex complete the list by giving her a new video after she completes every task. She and Kyle, who plays the testator, spend a lot of time together and become very good friends. Alex thinks she found love, but then he turns up to be a dud.

She and Kyle continue to be very good friends, but then one day it changes for them. Kyle wanted to be more, but Alex was not ready to admit her feelings just yet. Things get weird between them. They grow apart for a while, then one day Alex realizes that she does like Kyle and wants to be more than friends. Now there is a relationship, and she has finally been able to complete the list her mom inspired her to get out of the hole Alex was in, and she was successful in doing so. 

In my opinion, this movie had a very original plot. I’ve never watched anything like this movie, it was a refreshing watch. Something else I really loved about this movie is that it was not cheesy at all, which is something I always turn off movies for, which was not the case with this one. I would recommend this movie to people looking for a new interesting watch.
