EXCITEMENT. Above, Senior Neveah Wilson holds the first touchdown of the game. N. Wilson found the game to be enjoyable. “I felt like it was pretty fun,” N. Wilson said, “It’s always a good time just to play against some juniors.”

This evening, Fort Osage held their annual Powder Puff flag football game. The seniors emerged victorious 26-20. Senior Naomi Bernard enjoyed the game.

“I had a great time,” Bernard said, “I think it was super fun connecting with all my fellow seniors.”

Any senior or junior girl was able to try out for the game. The entry fee for spectators was two unopened hygiene products. Junior Hanna Johnston feels that it was great.

“I think it was great,” Johnston said, “I really felt like we had a good chance to win against the seniors.”

The game lasted around an hour. Coach Josh Wilson was really excited for the game.

“I was really excited to come back, after the loss (for the class of 2023) last year,” J. Wilson said, “Fortunately, the opposing team’s coaches last year quit because they were scared to go up against me again, but the girls were awesome and did a fantastic job. We had a great time.”

The game was organized by the Student Council, which hopes to hold another one next year. It was coordinated by Jenna Lehane and Sean Plaisme.
