WWE hosted Wrestlemania XL on April 6 and 7, featuring seven matches including Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch (Women’s World Championship) and Gunther vs. Sami Zayn (Intercontinental Championship). The first match was a highlight, as Becky Lynch lost her match against Rhea Ripley. Sami Zayn ended Gunther’s 666-day reign with a Helluva kick, and the crowd was excited to see him win.

Awesome Truth won the raw tag titles, and Truth and The Miz deserved a title run. Jey’s win against his brother was good, but the script could have been better. Jimmy played in the act on Jey almost winning the match, making it more entertaining. Jey’s entrance with Lil Wayne was the better match, and the crowd went crazy.

The main event was indeed the best part; even though Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins lost, I feel they should’ve picked up the win. But the end when the rock hit rock bottom and then people’s elbows on Cody to win was hard to watch and honestly just led to an even better plot to night 2 when Cody had to face Roman Reigns in the main event for the undisputed title.

The highlight of Night 2 was part two of Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship main event, Cody’s entrance with his wife was the best of the weekend. John Cena, Undertaker, and Seth Rollins dressed in the shield costume helped Cody finish his story, and superstars like Jey, Cena,

Randy, Sami Zayn, and others, including Cody’s family, came out at the end of the night to raise him to the sky in front of almost 80,000 fans.

Night 2 was way better than Night 1 overall, with better matches and more title changes, but Cody and all the superstars who came to his side made the night even better.
