Intensity continues in Cobra Kai Season 5

Story by Ripken Kiesling

Cobra Kai” is rated TV-14 and is an action packed drama streaming on Netflix. “Cobra Kai” is a very good show for people who enjoyed the Karate Kid movies. There are parts that are poorly acted so if you don’t like bad acting look away.

“Cobra Kai” has come out with their fifth season. The show follows Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel Larusso’s (Ralph Macchio) life as they are older and their karate dojos. Their newest season got a rotten tomato rating of 100 percent. The only other season to get 100 percent was season one. According to audience votes, season 5 was the best season getting a 96 percent.

“Cobra Kai” season 5 started in Mexico. It was a slow start to the season but was filled with laughs. The action started to develop more in the middle of the season and kept building up to the final episode.

They definitely were trying to get more fight scenes in this season and they did a good job with incorporating them in and making a good plot. If you like watching the fights the last episode is for you, and it has an outcome you won’t predict.

They settled rivalries in the last season and I wouldn’t be surprised if they all work together in the sixth season. The producers haven’t confirmed a season six but there will most likely be one. I believe if there is a season six that will be the last season and it will contain the birth of Johnny’s baby, the Sekai TaiKai tournament, and what happens with John Kreese (Martin Kove).

I would definitely suggest this show to someone who likes to follow a story, wants laughs, and loves action. Do not jump into the newest season because you won’t get what is going on, although season one is a little slow at first it becomes a really good show.
