Homecoming royalty prepare for festivities

The homecoming dance is this Saturday and the king and queen candidates can’t wait to find out who will be crowned at Friday night’s homecoming football game.

“ I think it’s fun being able to represent our class, the class of 2018,” Queen Candidate Geirin Melton said.

This Friday during lunch voting will be open for homecoming king and queen, the winners will be announced during the halftime of the homecoming football game that night. The queen candidates are Taylor Harm, Karlee Tatum, Brieanna Everts, Gairin Melton, Ally Young and Camryn Miller. The king candidates are Julian Dyer, Ma’a Acevedo, Mason Middleton, Lane Sullivan, Jan Salmon and Trenton McArthur.

“It feels good to get nominated for royalty, I can’t imagine winning,” Dyer said.
