WAITING. Fans fill the T-Mobile Center in anticipation for the WWE Supershow on 10-14-23.

On Saturday, October 14, 2023, The WWE Supershow shined bright in Kansas City Missouri at the T-Mobile Center. As the clock ticked towards 7 p.m., everyone grabbed their seats inside, excited and ready for the show. People filled in the rows with food, signs, and title belts. WWE top 10 filled the dark arena from the big screen, while fans screamed in excitement.

The lights went out as the projector displayed THEN NOW FOREVER. Jey Uso’s theme made every fan stand up with their hands in the air, bobbing their hands, vibing with Jey. Next, the American nightmare Cody Rhodes storms into the area as the crowd screams “WOAH!”. Jey Uso and Cody defended their titles against Imperium winning with a superkick and then a cross Rhodes and finally a pin 1,2, 3.

Another star moment of the night was Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakurma in a Kansas City, Street Fight Match. The crowd loved singing Seth Rollins’ song OH OH OH! Seth successfully defended his world title in that match with a curb stomp on Shinsuke.

Titus Smith, a Junior at Oak Park High School, went to the WWE event and felt that the best part was the opening of the show.

“My favorite part of the show was at the beginning when Jey Uso came out and we were throwing up the ones/hands and vibing with him,” said Titus.

The show was not broadcast live but that did not stop the fans from enjoying the environment. Smith feels it was still an enjoyable event.

“There was a lot of darkness in the show and it didn’t vibrate as an actual WWE show would, but it was really fun,” said Smith.

After the main event, the bloodline jumped Sami Zayn, and then LA Knight’s music blasted from the speakers making the crowd erupt in a roar. Reigns defeated Sami Zayn before being taken down by LA Knight who warned Reigns that he would have to face him in the future.

Niles Smith, a Junior at Oak Park High School thought the show was pretty cool.

“The show was okay, it had its ups and downs but it was all championship matches so it was lit,” Niles said.

You can watch LA Knight take on Roman Reigns for a shot at the undisputed title on Saturday, November 4th on Peacock at 1 pm EST/12 pm CST.
