Dylan Daugherty is a high school Senior and journalist from Buckner, Missouri. He’s mostly involved in Broadcasting, Digital Newspaper, and Scholar Bowl. He has worked for the school’s broadcasting team for three years since his Sophomore year, and the Newspaper staff for two years since his Junior year. His favorite things include photography, filmography, writing, reporting and his Linkedin profile.

ADMINISTRATING. Dudley handles cafeteria monitor duty during lunch. Starting next year, he will manage the actives at Fort Osage. Dudley hopes to learn from Schartz (the current Activities Directors) for the last two weeks of the year. "My number one goal is learning the position, I think there's a lot of things that go on in that office that a lot of people don't know about," Dudley said, "so my goal is to learn from Ryan Schartz these last few days."

INVOLVEMENT. Students & parents walked around Gym No. 3 and received information about the various clubs, activities and co-curricular classes represented. This was the school’s 3rd annual Freshman Night since 2019. “I feel like we tried to encourage kids that you don’t have to be a really strong writer, anyone is welcome to our club.” said Writing Club Adviser Dr. Anne Farmer.

RECOVER. After donating blood, donors eat sugary foods to help glucose and blood sugar levels as well as to stay well hydrated. NHS and the Community Blood Center collected 51 units of blood. “Donating blood can help people in need,” Junior Dakota Miller said.
